The German Developer Awards considered that the game adaptation of the animated series, "Starship Troopers - Roughnecks", made by Ojom was the "Best Mobile Action Game", in the People's Choice category. Before taking its prize home, Ojom was also nominated for the "Best Casual Game" in the same category.
The GDA is not at its first edition. Every year on the 12th of December in Essen, Germany, a jury of industry leading journalists, game consultants, leading game websites and even the gamers themselves give the prize for the best mobile games in the industry.
The "Starship Troopers - Roughnecks" game sets its play into an unknown alien world and makes the player fight against a huge army of titan-bugs. On top of that, the alien-bugs are extremely hostile and violent. I guess a bug spray won't help much in this case.
