Sporting a mettalic-blue sleek case

Finally some decent (not blurry) photos of Casio's new handset have appeared and users can now see what smashing good looks the G'Zone will bring on to Verizon.

Comparing to the previous model, Type-V, this one comes with an internal antenna and a glossy blue exterior. Just judging by the looks of it, the Type-S version of the G'Zone is by far less ruggedized and tough, comparing to its Type-V brother.

Users might actually end up thinking it's a stylish phone rather than a handset you can use in any situation without worrying that it will get smashed to little bits.

Nevertheless, it is said to bring the same durability the Type V is famous for, even though having dropped the ugly design and bulkiness. Coming in a clamshell form factor, it will withstand both water and shock.

There is no official information regarding the features of the handset, but rumor has it that it will come with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion and a 2 megapixel camera. Considering also that the Type-V sports mostly the same features, the new version of the G'Zone should be at least as feature-packed, if not more.

Casio's G'Zone Type-S has already received its FCC blessing and something that will surely pack is Bluetooth, since the handset has also shown up on the Bluetooth SIG page. There's no telling when the handset will show up in Verizon Wireless' stores, but hopefully this should happen soon. It will be a great addition to the carrier's lineup as it offers quite an outstanding blend between durability, features and good looks.
