Fuse, the long-awaited all-new shooter from Insomniac Games and Electronic Arts, has just received a brand new release date of May 28, in North America, and May 31, in Europe and the rest of the world for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, not to mention an array of pre-order bonuses.

Insomniac has made a name for itself by implementing all sorts of crazy weapons in its different games, ranging from realistic ones like Resistance, to more stylized experiences like the Ratchet & Clank series.

Currently, the studio is trying to do the same with Fuse, an all-new shooter set in a new universe.

After releasing plenty of screenshots and videos, not to mention unveiling different details, Irrational has now confirmed a new set of release dates for Fuse, as the shooter will be out in North America on May 28 and in Europe on May 31.

"Insomniac Games is known for delivering best-in-class weaponry that breaks the mold of traditional video games — and Fuse is no different," said Ted Price, CEO and founder of Insomniac Games, via AGB.

"These Xenotech weapons further the innovation players will find in this unique, action co-op shooter. We can't wait to bring Fuse, our first multi-platform game, to gamers worldwide this May."

What's more, the studio has also revealed the different pre-order bonuses that will be offered by various retailers from around the world. These include new armor and weapon customization options as well as a special Quickdraw perk.

Pre-order bonuses - Four Hyperion Prototype Agent Armor Skins — Upgrade your agents' look with four special, state-of-the-art armor skins discovered inside the top-secret Hyperion Base - Four Hyperion Prototype Weapon Skins — Customize your Fuse weapons with four skins based on each of the original prototypes developed inside Hyperion Base - Quickdraw Team Perk — Increase your damage with this team perk adding powerful Fuse elements to all one-handed weapons for all four characters in your squad

Look forward to learning more about Fuse ahead of its release at the end of spring.
