“You’ll always be with me. And you’ll always be my brother.”

Universal Pictures had the best opener in a very, very long time, with the seventh installment in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, “Furious 7,” debuting globally to a massive $384 million (€349.6 million). Reviews for it have been very positive, both from the critics and the fans.

The latter are still reeling from the incredibly emotional ending, which doubled as a tribute to leading man Paul Walker, who died in November 2013, before he could complete his role in the film.

As expected, the scene in question has leaked online in a variety of formats. Not one of them is legal, and Universal is working overtime to pull all copies, but they’re considerably in over their heads.

The ending is also spreading on Twitter and Instagram, where fans are gathering to pay their respects to the late actor and to praise the studio for the way they handled the tragedy. Most of their messages are grouped under the hashtag #ForPaul, and many of them, as you can see from the samples below, are very emotional.

The fans have spoken: with “Furious 7,” Paul Walker got the tribute he deserved, while with it, fans received a painful reminder of how much he meant to them. “Gone but not forgotten,” as they say.
