14 DAY TRIAL // Indie developer Dirtybit has just announced that its Fun Run and Fun Run 2 games have recently hit 65 million downloads on the Android and iOS platforms combined.
The games are now available for download via App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon App Store, and come for free with in-app purchases.
Beside reaching this impressive milestone, developers have also announced that Fun Run 2 has just received the biggest gameplay update since release.
In the latest version of the game, players will be put into leagues in order to give everyone further incentives to play and climb the ranks for greater rewards and fame.
The new League has been split into three categories: “My League”, “Friends Overview,” and “Hall of Fame.” Fun Run 2 players will be able to see their stats and rank within their league, as well as check their friends' avatars and customizations, or see where they stack up against the best players based on the global ranking system.
New avatars and customization options have been added too
Other improvements delivered in the latest update include a new and reworked spinning wheel, an enhanced game economy, as well as multiple new customizations for player avatars.
The Turtle avatar has been added, along with new currency (gems) that can be earned from playing or bought from the store.
Developers also confirm they have removed cash-only items and improved cheat detection. Also, players will now get more value when they spend real world money.

You can now download Fun Run 2 for Android for free via Google Play store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up. The latest version of Fun Run 2 for iOS can be downloaded for free via App Store.
