For true gamers, enthusiasts and overclockers

The time has once again come for the IT industry to swarm with more or less new motherboards, CPUs, graphics cards and memory products. This, of course, means that the standard for gaming and overclocking has gone up a notch, prompting PC suppliers and other hardware makers to also raise the stakes. This is exactly what IKONIK seeks to accomplish by introducing the RA 2000 full-tower chassis.

The RA 2000 is described on the official product page as “the next generation IKONIK high end gaming case […] specifically designed for power users, overclockers and true gamers.” Basically, this newcomer is a suitable rival to the same company's award-winning Ra X10 and is “a combination of SMART PLATFORM, sophisticated appearance and first-tier manufacturing quality.”

The black, full-tower case measures 220 x 580 x 590 mm, is constructed out of 1.2mm steel and comes in two color options, so to speak, namely with a black interior or a gray one. Equipped with six exposed 5.25-inch bays, the enclosure has a removable motherboard tray, and uses a tool-free design, for extra user-friendliness. Additionally, the power supply (PSU) and HDD railings are covered in rubber, to reduce vibration. Furthermore, there is a top-placed I/O panel with four USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port and a fan control knob.

The control knob is meant to allow consumers to adjust the speed of the fans for either cooling performance or silence. There are a pair of 140mm fans, one at the front and one at the rear, as well as two or a single 120mm spinner, on the black and gray versions, respectively.

Full information on IKONIK's full-tower casing can be found on the official website. As for pricing and availability, the gray version hasn't started selling yet, but the all-black one is already up for order in Europe, priced at 120 Euro.
