Given the fact that the number of Full HD, networked, streaming-capable media players that have made their way onto the market lately is pretty high, the companies manufacturing such products tend to come out with products featuring all sorts of attention-drawing extras, as is the case with the particular model you'll read about as follows, namely the EM7195 HD media player with DVB-T twin tuner, recently introduced by Eminent.

Without a doubt, what sets this particular device apart from its competitors is the presence of at dual DVB-T tuner, that will allow users to watch a certain program while they're recording another, just to give a simple example.

The device from Eminent also features an electronic program guide (EPG), while allowing users to schedule recordings and record up to two channels simultaneously.

Similar to just about all of the other such products available on the market (and there are plenty to choose from), the Eminent HD media player can play an impressive array of file formats, including MKV and H.264, one of the main reasons for this extensive level of versatility being the presence of the powerful Realtek RT1183 DD C+ chipset.

As mentioned earlier, the device also sports an USB 3.0 interface, that enables the faster transfer of files between an external storage solution and the player's built-in HDD unit, but also a SATA port and a card reader.

Plus, users shouldn't encounter too many problems when connecting the Eminent HD media player EM7195 to the home network to stream multimedia files from a PC to the TV.

Additionally, it's accompanied by a backlit remote control, whose design matches the player's elegant external look.

The Eminent HD media player EM7195 is slated to become available in the UK in March 2011, but, unfortunately, no pricing details for this thing have been yet provided.
