Pretty much every high-end motherboard has a heatsink or two, or three, or one that covers everything, but there is always room for better, and EK can offer that “better.”

That thing is called EK-FB ASUS M6E series Full-Board water block but, unfortunately, it is not universal.

It only works for the Z87 Express Chipset-based ASUS Maximus VI Extreme mainboard.

The block cools the Z87 Southbridge (PCH), PLX PEX 8474 PCIe lane and power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module.

The base is made of (nickel-plated) electrolytic copper and the top is wrought out of quality POM Acetal material.

Here are the prices of the coolers, along with the bundled mounting mechanism and thermal pads:

EK-FB ASUS M6E - Nickel – €128.05 / $128.05 EK-FB ASUS M6E - Acetal+Nickel – €128.05 / $128.05 EK-FB ASUS M6E - Nickel (Original CSQ) – €128,05 / $128.05 EK-FB ASUS M6E - Acetal+Nickel (Original CSQ) – €128,05 / $128.05
