14 DAY TRIAL // This summer, Paul Rudd will be making his grand entrance in Marvel’s cinematic universe, as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man in the movie of the same name. Marvel has released the full trailer for it, which you can find available in full and in HD below.
The release of the new preview is no coincidence: this weekend marked the start of the promo campaign for “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” which doesn’t drop in theaters until May 1. Marvel is capitalizing on this to get attention for “Ant-Man” as well.
They really shouldn’t have bothered, because the trailer would have done the job on itself, most likely. It is the usual blend of action scenes and humor that you’ve come to expect from Marvel, with a bit more focus this time on what this particular superhero can do.
After all, if you hear that a superhero can decrease to the size of an insect, you’re not exactly getting chills down the spine or trembling in your boots, are you? This trailer will explain that power comes in the unlikeliest shapes, including that of an ant-sized man in a rather ridiculous suit.
Opposite Paul Rudd, you will see Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly, both as new to the superhero genre as Rudd himself. “Ant-Man” is directed by Peyton Reed.
