While we've seen a more or less constant flow of tablets making their way onto the market over the course of 2010, it seems that 2011 will bring about even more hot and interesting models, with Fujitsu being one of the companies that plans to bring forth such a product next year.

To be perfectly honest, using the world “flow” above was a bit of an exaggeration, since we're still pretty far from the full market potential, but it seems that we're slowly, yet surely, heading there, with more and major names from the IT sector coming out with their own specific offerings for this market segment.

And sure enough, that's also the case with Fujitsu, who showcased at Visit 2010, the international Fujitsu fair in Munich, Germany, a tablet model that runs the Windows 7 operating system and features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, promising “best-in-class visibility from all sides and angles,” as Slashgear informs us.

Unfortunately, while we'll have to admit that Fujitsu's slate looks pretty good, solid and serious, we're sort of disappointed by the lack of information related to it, technical or otherwise.

I mean, Fujitsu offers somewhat of a strange explanation as far as the target segment is concerned (from what we get, they're pretty much going for everyone, whether we're talking about business and corporate users or mainstream users from the “prosumer” category), while, in terms of tech specs, there's really nothing official to report.

However, we'd dare to make an educated guess and say that this thing will probably be built around an Intel processor (of current or future generation), and will also pack a SSD or NAND flash module, coupled with plenty of connectivity options on the side, in order to cater for the users' diverse needs.

Sadly, no info on a possible release date has been provided (apart from the fact that we're talking about 2011), and you can forget about any pricing-related details as well until the company decides to come up with an official announcement.
