Fans of Fujitsu might be thrilled to hear about the hefty discount

Some time ago, Fujitsu launched one of its many tablet models in the US, called the Stylistic Q702. Its major downside? It came bundling a huge price-tag.

The device had an 11.6-inch display with a pretty bland 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and drew power from an Intel Ivy Bridge processor (the previous chip architecture).

On the up side of things, the tablet comes equipped with a durable case design, had an active digitizer for pen input and a keyboard dock for using the slate in laptop mode. For all of this, Fujitsu asked customers to pay $1,049 / €762 which, let’s face it, is enormous, especially for what’s being offered.

But if you still have your heart set on this particular Fujitsu slate, you should know Rakuten is offering it with a whopping 63% discount, so you’ll be able to purchase it for the more acceptable $499 / €363.

As a side note, it still seems a lot to pay, especially in an era where tablets with good specifications and HD displays are selling for way less.
