Indeed, that is Windows 7 loaded on Fujitsu F-07C, and not the Windows Phone 7 platform that Microsoft launched last year for mobile devices.

The smartphone is expected to arrive on the market in Japan on the airwaves of NTT DOCOMO, and is rumored to be slated for launch no later than tomorrow.

The smartphone was already spotted into the wild before, but this is the first time that its July 23rd release date is actually unveiled to the world.

Unfortunately, specific info on the price tag that this device will sport is not known for the time being, but some details on the specs and capabilities it would sport when made available for purchase were unveiled.

The main selling point of this device would be the dual-boot options it comes with, enabling users to run either Symbian or Windows 7 on it.

According to Fujitsu, this is the smallest computer in the world, since it can run an operating system that was originally created for desktops, not for mobile phones.

The smartphone is based on an Intel Atom Z600 processor, clocked in at 1.2GHz, and features a side-sliding form factor, with a full QWERTY added into the mix. It also sports a 4-inch touchscreen display that boasts a 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.

On the back, the mobile phone features a 5.1-megapixel photo snapper, complemented by a front camera. It also comes with 1GB memory inside, and with a 32GB eMMC SSD included from the beginning.

One other interesting feature of this smartphone is the fact that it comes with the full version if Internet Explorer 9 installed on it.

Moreover, it will be pushed on shelves with a 2-year license for Office Personal 2010 for users to enjoy.

As stated above, the price tag of this device has not been confirmed until now, but it should be announced as soon as tomorrow, so keep an eye on this space for more info on the matter.
