Fujifilm XF10-24mm f/4 R OIS was announced back in December with a shipping date set for March 15, according to the AmazonUS listing.

Apparently, the company decided to postpone the launch of this lens until late March, as the current AmazonUS listing displays an expected ship date of March 31, while BHphoto lists April as a possible delivery date.

According to DCWatch, Fujifilm was caught off-guard by the large pre-order numbers from all over the world and didn't manage to manufacture all the units needed to fulfill these pre-orders.

Fujifilm XF10-24mm f/4 R OIS comes with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 15-36mm and a constant f/4 aperture throughout the entire focal range. The lens will hit market shelves at a price of $999 / €740. If you want to see how the lens performs, you can check out the sample image gallery on Fujifilm's website. It also includes samples shot with the new X-T1 model.
