A couple of days ago, the first image for Fujifilm's X100S all-black model was leaked online, and it seems it was genuine. Today, the Japanese camera and optics manufacturer officially announced the X100S Black version that's more discreet and easily blends in with its surroundings.

The camera was released due to high market demand and comes with the same price as the Silver X100S model. This is more of a surprise if you think that the limited edition black X100 came at a considerably higher price, although the kit also included a few accessories.

The new black X100S is identical with its silver sibling in terms of construction and optical quality. The camera features the same 16MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor and 23mm f/2 prime lens.

Moreover, Fujifilm has announced that a few accessories, including the aforementioned optic, lens hood, adapter ring for the filter, and leather case have also been painted black to fit with the new model.
