A day before CES 2014 opened its doors to the public, Fujifilm announced its latest digital cameras, including the new Black version of the current X100S model.

The announcement came with a small surprise, as the Nippon camera and optics manufacturer decided to sell the new Black version at the same price as the Silver X100S, although, in the case of the Limited Edition X100 Black, the camera was priced considerably higher.

If you're planning to purchase the Black X100S, you can now pre-order it from BHphoto and AmazonUS at a price of $1,299 / €952, while in Europe, Wex Photographic has the camera in stock at a price of £999 / €1,210 / $1,650.

According to AmazonUS, customers based in the United States will receive their X100S Black mirrorless camera starting February 3.

In addition to that, Fujifilm also announced a Limited Edition X100S Black only for the Japanese market, which comes with a set of black painted accessories to match the camera body.
