The X-T1 will be revealed to the public on January 28

A few hours separate us from the official Fujifilm X-T1 announcement that will take place tomorrow, January 28, around 4:30 AM GMT (8:30 PM PST), and it seems that new bits of information regarding the camera's price and availability have been revealed.

According to Digicameinfo, the Fujifilm X-T1 mirrorless camera will begin shipping on February 15. Moreover, the same source states that the estimated retail price for the X-T1 camera body is around ¥150,000 / $1,460 / €1,068, a bit cheaper than the previously rumored price of ¥180,000 / $1,700 / €1,300.

In addition to that, the XF15-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS lens kit will cost ¥190,000 / $1,850 / €1,350 and will be available at the same time as the X-T1 body.

The two rumored hand grips have also received an estimated price as follows: ¥25,000 / $243 / €180 for the VG-XT1 vertical battery grip and ¥13,000 / $126 / €93 for the MHG-XT hand grip.

Besides this, the same source has also revealed that the Fujinon XF56mm f/1.2 R lens will hit market shelves on February 22 at an estimate retail price for the Japanese market of ¥110,000 / $1,070 / €783.
