Fujifilm X-T1 was the subject of numerous rumors before the company finally decided to officially unveil it on January 28. At the time of the announcement, the camera was scheduled to be shipped worldwide starting March 7, but AmazonUS listed the X-T1 as available from February 24.

According to FujiRumors, various sources have revealed that the Fujifilm X-T1 is now available at most retailers across Europe and the US and will start shipping right away. This means that some of the first customers who pre-ordered it should receive their camera right in time for a weekend photo session.

The camera was very well received by critics and got lots of awards for its high-quality construction, ease of use, and exceptional performance. Fujifilm X-T1 packs a 16.3MP X-Trans II CMOS APS-C sensor and the latest EXR Processor II with the Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO) feature.

The camera is available for purchase at retailers around the world with a price tag of $1,299 / €950 / £1,049 for body only and $1,699 / €1,240 / £1,399 for the 18-55mm lens kit.
