Everybody who owned a camera at some point knows this fact, photography gear isn't exactly exciting in terms of looks. Most products come with black, brown or silver paint jobs that make them look drab and monotonous.

So if your are one of those people who like to spice things up by adding a dash of color whenever possible, you will be glad to hear that photo-gear maker Fujifilm has launched a new customization service for its Fuji X cameras, allowing photographers to customize their cameras the way they like it.

The only caveat is that so far the service has been limited to the UK market, but in case it proves popular with customers, Fujifilm might want to extend it to several other countries, too.

Fuji X owners will be able to choose between different leather textures / colors to turn their camera into a fashion accessory of sort, something that will particularly appeal to those wearing the photo gear around their necks, in full view.

The service doesn't include other cameras, at the moment, so if you want to take advantage of the customization option offered, you’ll have to purchase a Fuji X. Other options, aside from textures and coloring, might also be added in the near future.
