14 DAY TRIAL // The folks over at Halfbrick, creators of Fruit Ninja, are back with yet another addictive mobile game called Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master.
The game has been developed in collaboration with Krome Studios, and as the name suggests, is part of the popular Fruit Ninja series of games.
“Striking the perfect balance between fun and education was incredibly important. With this release, it’s our belief that even the most reluctant students will feel engaged and supported from beginning to end,” said Shainiel Deo, chief executive at Halfbrick.
Set in the world of Fruit Ninja, the game is meant to teach children aged 5 to 7 years old Grade 1 math skills. However, developers kept the simple, addictive Fruit Ninja gameplay that made the original game so popular among Android and iOS players.
Basically, Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master players will have to “slice” their way through various math challenges shown in a challenging, but comic-styled format at the same time.
According to developers, “students will master a number of key learning areas along the way, including addition, subtraction, skip counting (multiplication), numbers, sequences and shapes. The objective? To find the Lost Tablets of Fruitasia, rescue Truffles the Pig, and prove that learning can be fun!”
It doesn't contain analytics or data gathering functionality
The game awards players with greater rewards if they perform better in these math challenges. Also, players can hone their skills if they want to unlock extra content while playing Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master.
You can now download Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master for Android for $4.99. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
Also, the iOS version of the game can be purchased for $4.99 via App Store. Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master is compatible with devices powered by iOS 5.1.1 or later.
