If you hear the name of Billy Idol and go “Billy who?” you're probably younger than 20. If that be the case, just know that he was one of the rock gods of the '80s, as well as one of the first MTV stars.

As it turns out, he could have also had a successful career as a rapper.

In today's From the Vaults issue, we have a 2001 Ikea commercial showing Billy Idol in a light his fans are probably not used to seeing him: as a rapper.

If you watch the ad above, to your surprise, you might find out that he could've cut it as rapper too, even if he does look a bit ridiculous in some shots.

Nevertheless, straddled by curvy backup dancers or straddling a bike (with a curvy dancer in the back), rapping in front of a muscle car or dancing behind a woman, Billy Idol remains a bad boy for ever.

And that raspy voice he uses to rap is bound to win him major points with his female admirers. Check it out but *please note that some discretion is recommended when viewing it.
