A woman from South Bend, Indiana has come across a rather unexpected surprise in a can of green beans bought at a local store.

The can, manufactured by Meijer, contained a toad which was not initially detected, because of its color of course.

Gloria Chubb was making dinner for her family, and planned to add beans to her meatloaf and mashed potatoes dish.

"My son put some on his plate and said, 'What is that?' I thought maybe it was a piece of moldy bacon or something. Because they have bacon in them sometimes," she recalls.

As you can see above, the amphibian's legs and specific pattern are distinctive and easily noticeable.

The buyer complained about the contents of the can and was reimbursed. She also received a $50 compensation, according to Perez Hilton.
