Write down your thoughts with NoteMind

Do you feel that you have too many things on your mind? Are you tired of switching between your active applications and the notes manager that you have lost somewhere in the background? Sometimes, being able to run more than just a program at once can become a real headache, just the same as the ability of the human brain to multitask (although some may say that this is not true, since the studies proved that men and women think about certain things more than once per minute - and I am not talking only about sex here - the result is that without multitasking, nobody would be able to work more than, let's say, 15 minutes daily) can lead to loss of focus and wasted time.

Well, when it comes to the human brain and a person's ability to stay focused on a task, probably Yoga and other similar forms of meditation can help, but that's out of my league. What I have for you now is an information management software application that just renewed its version number plate, as well as its features...

Developed by Synium Software, NoteMind is an information management application for Mac OS X that allows you to add notes using a keyboard shortcut while remaining behind the other applications running when you do that. The data that can be pasted into this program includes pictures, PDF files and web links, and once you added your items into the database, "mind maps" of your folder tree are automatically created, giving you an excellent overview of your collected documents.

The database can also have audio notes integrated, and all your data will be indexed in the background, enabling NoteMind to find related content within its own database, in any folder from your hard drive or even online, on the World Wide Web.

Available as a Universal Binary application, NoteMind 1.4 is priced at 20$, requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to run, and a shareware version can be downloaded for free from Softpedia here.
