14 DAY TRIAL // Users ready to express their love of Microsoft’s search/decision engine publicly have the chance to win some rather sweet prizes from the company.
However, they’d better hurry, since the Microsoft: Bing/Windows Phone Sweepstakes is scheduled to end today, December 13th, 2010.
Still, entries are still accepted at this point in time, and the process of participating in the sweepstakes is rather simple.
“Tweet what you love about Bing to @Bing to enter to win a Windows Phone 7, Samsung Focus available on the ATT Network,” a member of the Bing team revealed.
“Just include the hashtag #windowsphone to enter and we will contact you directly if your tweet is selected.”
The sweepstakes are opened only to United States residents, and the winners will be selected at random.
But while the software giant is generous with its Windows Phone 7 devices, the company is not that generous. “If you have won or been gifted a Windows Phone 7 in a Microsoft Windows 7 Phone promotion within the last 6 months, you are not eligible to win this Sweepstakes,” Microsoft stated.
Of course, there are additional prizes up for grabs for Bing lovers. Microsoft has offered a list with all “five (5) Prize Packages which include one each of the following items:
“- A Windows Phone 7. Approximate Retail Value (ARV $400.00).
- A one (1) A one-year subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold. (ARV$50.00)
- A one (1) A 12-month Zune Pass Subscription Card. Approximate Retail Value (ARV $149.99)
- Microsoft Office Professional 2010 software. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $499.99.”
In total, the Redmond company is offering $5,499.40 in prizes. “Last month, we finally got our hands on the elegant, intuitive Windows Phone 7. The experience spans the common things we all need to get done every day. Not surprisingly, what excites us most is what the team has done with Bing on Windows Phone 7,” the Bing team representative added.
