It's malware, don't click on it!

It's obvious the security of our computers is threatened by more and more malicious files but this time, there is something at least interesting. Security company Sophos reported that an impressive spam campaign was recently started, sending numerous pornographic content messages to the emails from all around the world. In fact, there is no erotic content because the messages contain a link to a malicious page that tries you to infect with Troj/Pushu-A Troojan horse. Although there are numerous signs of spam messages, users might click on the links because they redirect to pornographic images.

"Running the file will infect your Windows computer with a spyware Trojan horse. The danger is that some people may be so excited about the prospect of viewing hardcore porn that they'll click before thinking about what might be in the best interests of their PC's health," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos according to an article published on the security company's website.

At this time, there are only a few cases reported so it seems like the spam campaign is not so successful as the spammers expected it to be. The interesting fact of the infected e-mail is represented by the analysis made by Sophos, the security company discovering some interesting elements. As I said, the "pornographic" link tries to redirect you to some malware websites that are trying to infect your computer. Sophos analyzed one of these pages and found the picture attached to the article. Although the company sustained they have no idea who are the two persons appearing in the picture, Sophos needs the help of any users that manage to identify them. So, if you know who these two guys are or you can at least give some simple details about them, feel free to contact Sophos.
