Yahoo added one more shortcut to its search engine results page, allowing users to view lyrics straight from the website. All you need to do is type "artist lyrics" and you'll be able to see the lyrics integrated straight into the results. Yahoo recently introduced its Lyrics service that was presented as the first free and legal website that provides lyrics for numerous artists. Until Yahoo Lyrics was released, there were a lot of similar websites that provided the same content but, as the giant portal sustained, most of them were either not freeware or not legal. Now, the clients are able to use a lyrics platform for free and get licensed content offered by the giant portal Yahoo.

Today, the company debuted a new integration of Yahoo Lyrics into the search engine, displaying the lyrics straight on the SERP. The entire interoperability was done with the support of the shortcuts, a special Yahoo function that offers instant access to certain products powered by the company.

"Finding a reliable lyrics source can be difficult and frustrating for music lovers. Thankfully, Yahoo! Music recently launched a lyrics web site that includes hundreds of thousands of song lyrics. It's the first ever free and legal lyrics site. To coincide with this, Yahoo! Search added a new shortcut that will help music fans find lyrics from their favorite artists quickly and easily," Carlos Teran, Yahoo Search, presented the new shortcut.

Recently, the giant portal introduced Yahoo Movies shortcut that allows users to view information and other details about a certain movie displayed on the search engine result page. As you can see, the company improves the SERP periodically, trying to make it more efficient according to the users' queries and provide more relevant results.
