14 DAY TRIAL // A four-legged duckling that goes by the name Donald is now growing into an Internet star after one of the humans it lives with saw fit to set up a Facebook page documenting its life and adventures.
According to NBC Chicago, this totally adorbs duckling, a photo of which is available above, was born not too long ago in the house of a family in the city of Sulphur in Louisiana, US.
Talking to the press, Claude Aucoin explained that, although the family has been in the business of raising animals for years now and has hatched well over 1,000 baby ducks, Donald truly is one of a kind.
Truth be told, four-legged ducklings are few and far between, so it should not come as a surprise that everybody seems to share Claude's opinion and that the Facebook page started by daughter Kylie has already secured over 5,000 likes.
Vets who have had the chance to examine this four-legged duckling say that, despite its anatomical quirks, Donald appears to be in good health. What's more, the tiny creature does not seem to mind having two extra limbs.
For the time being, it is unclear how and why Donald was born with four legs instead of just two. The Aucoin family suspect its weird anatomy is due to some wacky birth defect.
