Here is some really good news for green group Sea Shepherd and their fans: the Tomchin Family Charitable Foundation has agreed to match all donations of up to $25,000 (€18,309) that will be made to the organization by the end of this year, i.e. December 31.

As detailed on Sea Shepherd's official website, the money will help the green group carry on with its work to protect wildlife currently inhabiting our planet's seas and oceans.

Otherwise put, those who donate will be able to sleep at night knowing that they have made whales, dolphins, sea lions, sharks, sea turtles and the like really happy this holiday season.

“For the sake of the seas and for our next generation, let’s join together and gift to Sea Shepherd!” the Foundation urged in a statement.

As reported, conservationists working with Sea Shepherd are now on their way to the Antarctic. Once there, they will do their best to keep Japanese whalers from killing over 1,000 whales.
