It looks like Nissan wants a bigger piece of what some claim to be the best racing simulator out there, Forza Motorsport. Nissan will get more involved in all Microsoft activities, due to an advertising contract the two companies just signed.

Gamasutra reports that - from now on - we will get to see Nissan advertisements in all Microsoft related products, such as MSN, Windows Live, Live Search, Windows Mobile and Xbox Live. Nissan will also sponsor the upcoming Forza Motorsport 2 racing game which will come out in the first quarter of 2007. On top of this, you will get to enter a Forza Motorsport tournament soon, this tournament also being sponsored by Nissan.

Forza Motorsport 2 will be developed by Turn 10 studios and Microsoft Games, and it will feature over 300 cars, including some famous brands like Mitsubishi, Dodge, Volkswagen and BMW. Since we were already talking about Nissan, I must inform you that, by now, two Nissan models have been confirmed to appear in Forza 2, the Nissan Skyline and the Nissan 350Z, to be exact.

There will also be about 70 tracks, including the Suzuka Circuit. Sebring International Raceway and Blue Mountain. The latter two circuits are only speculation, neither one being confirmed by the game's developer.
