14 DAY TRIAL // Forza Motorsport 5 is free to download and play this weekend, between September 4 September 7, for all Xbox Live Gold members on the Xbox One platform, and developer Turn 10 is also organizing special events inside the game for all the newcomers.
Forza Motorsport 5 launched last year right alongside the Xbox One console and brought forth a pretty stellar racing experience that delivered gorgeous tracks, impressively realistic cars, and plenty of fun times for owners of the new device.
Now, as we get closer to the launch of the upcoming Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One and Xbox 360, Microsoft has decided to offer all Xbox Live Gold members the opportunity to try out for free Forza Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One.
As such, starting at 12:01am PDT on September 4, until 11:59pm PDT on September 7, all Xbox Live Gold members in the different Xbox One markets can download and play Forza Motorsport 5 for free.
The promotion covers the whole game, from its single-player campaign to its many different multiplayer modes. What's more, developer Turn 10 Studios is also organizing different in-game events for newcomers and veterans alike.
"The Forza Motorsport 5 weekend will allow you to check out the full Forza experience with special in-game challenges, play against others online and build your achievements and Gamerscore," the studio said on the Xbox Wire.
Throughout the weekend, you will have the chance to compete in a special multiclass endurance in-game race event, Grand Tour of Prague. Complete this endurance event and drive at least 130 miles in the race to earn a new title and badge for your Forza Motorsport 5 profile."
Of course, throughout the weekend and after it, Xbox One owners can purchase the game and continue their racing adventures.
"After the weekend, you’ll have the option to purchase the game online from the Xbox Store or visit your favorite retailer and continue playing. You will also get to keep your Gamerscore and achievements earned while playing, so invite your Gold friends to play and see who has the best driving skill."
Last but not least, Xbox Live Gold members from the U.S. that participate in this free weekend can qualify for a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the three-day Forza Motorsport Grand Prix Road Racing class at the iconic Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Arizona.
