Forza Motorsport 4, the racing game created by Turn 10 and published by Microsoft exclusively on the Xbox 360 home console, has managed to take the number one position in the video game United Kingdom chart during its first week on store shelves.

The game offers an updated driving engine and a number of new tracks but also support for the Kinect motion tracking system in the Autovista mode and a collaboration with Top Gear.

FIFA 12, the football simulation from EA Sports, has finally had to relinquish the number United Kindom crown and had to settle for second position this week, although it might bounce back when the big releases of the year spend their fuel.

Another new entry, Just Dance 3 from Ubisoft, has managed to take the last place on the podium, showing that the success of the previous two titles in the series was not just a fluke.

RAGE, the first person shooter from id Software and publisher Bethesda, has taken fourth place this week after occupying second during the last seven day period, while Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 from Konami, yet another new entry, is in fifth place.

Gears of War 3, the third person shooter from Epic Games which is also exclusive for the Xbox 360, sits in sixth place, losing two places when compared to last week, while Dark Souls, the very hard melee focused game from Namco Bandai and From Software, is in seventh.

Zumba Fitness refuses to let go and clings to number 8 in the United Kingdom video game chart while F1 2011, the racing simulation from Codemasters, comes in at number nine.

Johah Lomu Rugby Challenge closes down the top ten during its first week on sale, just as the Rugby World Cup 2011 is wrapping up in New Zealand.
