Forward Your BlackBerry Calls and SMS Remotely

Advanced Forwarder, developed by Melon Mobile (formerly WebGate JSC), offers you the possibility to forward your received calls and SMS messages on any other mobile or land-line phone. How many times have you regretted that you forgot your BlackBerry device at home? How many times have you had to receive an important call the same day you forgot to take your BlackBerry smartphone with you? To avoid the pain caused, Melon Mobile has designed a special application that will enable you to set up all the diverting processes remotely, no matter where you are. Advanced Forwarder can be activated either locally from the application installed on your device or remotely through a text-message command sent from any other phone. Also, you will be able to choose to forward only calls, only SMS messages, or simply both.

The application is compatible with all BlackBerry devices with BlackBerry OS version 4.2.1 or higher. These include but are not limited to BlackBerry Storm, Tour, Bold, Curve, Pearl and the 88xx series. Also, Advanced Forwarder is compatible with both GSM and CDMA mobile networks, although the software performance may vary for some CDMA carrier networks. After downloading and installing the application on your BlackBerry device, you will be asked for Permissions. Be sure to set all options to Allow, otherwise the application may have troubles in handling your incoming calls. To successfully trigger and navigate the forwarding on your BlackBerry through a SMS forwarding command sent from another mobile phone, you will have to use a certain set of commands, which is described in the application's manual, as well as in the application's interface. Be sure to include the phone number where you want to forward all your calls and SMS messages.
