Video game developer Sports Interactive and publisher SEGA have announced that Football Manager 2013 will be officially launched worldwide on Friday, November 2.

The development team has also revealed that all those who pre-order the game will get access to a Beta version of Football Manager 2013 that will be available two weeks before launch and will offer almost all the core features of the game.

This includes the new Classic Mode and the limited time Challenges.

The team wants to make the Beta version save files fully compatible with the full version of Football Manager 2013 and will let the preview of the game expire on November 5.

Miles Jacobson, who is the studio director at Sports Interactive, has stated, “Our fans are very good at letting us know what they want and the one thing that's consistently at the top of their wish list is an earlier release date.”

He added, “While we can't, strictly speaking, offer them exactly what they want, this Beta version is the next best thing... a fully playable Football Manager they can get their hands on around two weeks before the finished game hits the streets.”

The Beta stage will probably mean that more players pre-order Football Manager 2013 but players should probably make sure that the features they love most are included before paying any money.

The new management simulation title will offer more options when it comes to squad management, contract negotiations, press interaction and long-term planning.

Gamers can also choose to play a stripped-down version of the game, called Classic Mode, which will allow for one full season to be played in just one normal day of gaming time.

The mode will eliminate some of the more peripheral concepts of Football Manager 2013 in order to allow players to play a career quickly.
