14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly before she passed away, Whitney Houston managed to complete the big screen adaptation of “Sparkle,” where she stars opposite Jordin Sparks. Behind the scenes footage has just been released.
This is good news for fans of both Whitney the singer and Whitney the actress, because the video above showcases both these sides of her.
At the time she shot the film, Whitney was looking incredible, seemed very healthy, was at the top of her game and, just as important, was a real pro.
Her voice was also very good: deep, somewhat raspy, but of a deep texture and of great strength. It wasn't the voice fans have come to love with her earlier albums, but it was just as great.
The video above will probably be bittersweet for fans, because it will remind them of an amazing artist that is no longer with us.
At the same time, it should prove to the world that all those rumors about Whitney being in very poor condition before her death were never true.
“Sparkle” comes out in August this year.
