Worldwide leading provider of digital media Getty Images has teamed up with Foneclay Inc., a mobile technology company that offers various cloud-based services, to offer its entire photo catalog as wallpapers through the Foneclay Android app.

Scott Dresden of Foneclay said that “People look at the picture on their mobile home screen more often than any other image.”

“Our users want to see new images cycling through their background but don’t have time to change the image themselves. Therefore, we’ve enabled publishers like Getty Images to send dynamic images to these users’ mobile home screens,” he then added.

For the record, this is Getty's first partnership with a mobile technology company. From now on, all the images found on Getty's website can be set as interactive mobile wallpaper feeds, giving photographers the possibility to sell their images using the Android platform.

Foneclay is available to download for free from the Google Play store.
