A Florida woman, who appears to be a big McDonald's fan, got so upset when her boyfriend refused to buy her a McFlurry for dessert that she decided to set his car on fire.

According to NY Daily News, the incident happened at the Southside, Jacksonville McDonald's on Sunday morning. Diners at the restaurant report that the argument between the two began inside the venue around 12:30 a.m.

“She was saying she wanted this and wanted that, and she wanted either a McFlurry or an ice cream on top and he was not in for it,” an eyewitness told a local TV station.

“Next thing you know, she says ‘I'm going to blow it up,’ and we were wondering what are you going to blow up?” she added.

The people who witnessed the incident also said that the angry woman grabbed the man’s keys, went to his car in the parking lot, poured alcohol and gasoline on the car’ and then lit it on fire. Bystanders tried to help the man put out the flames.

The car was a 1994 El Dorado, and police later found out that the license plate did not match the vehicle, so the investigation in this case continues.

The woman, who has been identified as Melanie Cross, denies this version of the events.
