Florida teenager Robert Kelley was arrested for leaving the scene of a crash after he posted on YouTube a video of himself driving erratically on the highway and rear-ending a car.

The youngster filmed himself driving recklessly down State Road 44 in New Smyrna Beach and crashing into four vehicles. He then uploaded the four-minute clip, titled “Me Driving Like an Idiot,” on the video sharing website, which led to his arrest.

The footage does not include the entire accident, which happened on Monday afternoon, but according to the police, Kelley first struck a Toyota sedan with his 1994 Honda, then fled the scene and hit three more vehicles that were stopped at a red light, injuring five people.

“He wasn’t concerned about anyone’s safety. He just drove in a manner, cutting people off left and right just a total disregard for our citizens. We’re just really lucky we’re not dealing with a death in this case,” Sergeant Eugene Griffith told reporters, according to The Urban Daily.

The video has been taken down from the video sharing site after Kelley's arrest on Friday.

The 18-year-old boy faces charges of reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, driving without a license, and New Smyrna Beach Police Chief said they are also considering charging him with intentional battery with a vehicle.
