The bra allegedly perks up a man's pectoral muscles, otherwise known as “moobs”

Unless you've been living in a bunker in the underground for the past decade or so, it could not have escaped your notice that men tend to care a great deal about their appearance in this day and age.

In fact, some are so preoccupied with having the perfect body that they are ready and willing to go to what some would label absurd lengths to ensure that each and every muscle fiber adorning their bones is the right shape and size.

One can only assume that it is men like these that Japanese designer Kaku Nishioka had in mind when piecing together one of the most peculiar pieces of lingerie ever to hit the public eye: a male bra.

The bizarre garment currently sells at a shop that the Japanese designer owns and operates in the city of Tokyo. Despite the fact that it is intended for men, it comes in a floral pattern of pink, yellow and lime green.

As easily noticeable in the photo next to this article, the brassiere looks strikingly similar to what many expect to find lying around a woman's closet. Still, Kaku Nishioka maintains that there is nothing even remotely girlie about it.

On the contrary, this floral-print man bra has the right shape and structure to properly look after your regular Joe's pectoral muscles, otherwise known as “moobs,” as he sleeps, the Japanese designer has told the press in a recent interview.

According to Huffington Post, Kaku Nishioka is quite upset about the fact that, despite the fact that they too need being looked after, male pectoral muscles are more often than not ignored by the clothing industry, which only tries to cover them up.

By the looks of it, men who choose to purchase one such brassiere and wear it while enjoying a good nights' rest are bound to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and with their so-called moobs looking all perky and ready to take on the world.

“If a man has good pectoral muscles he is at just the same risk as a woman of having them gradually stretched and left out of shape. A man wears this bra to bed at night will find everything is held firmly in place and looking good the next day,” the designer explains.

Fear not, all of you who simply cannot sleep at night unless the top and the bottom of your undergarments match, as this Japanese designer really thought things through when launching his male bra. Thus, word has it his shop also offers customers floral-print underwear.
