One might expect Hercules to do like others did and release their products one at a time, but the company chose, instead, to release five items at the same time and just sit back and watch them reel in customers.

The audio market is definitely not suffering from any sort of new product shortage, not with companies unveiling whole product lines.

Granted, some companies did dedicate entire press releases to so-called standalone products, as was the case with Razer's Tiamat 7.1 Headset and Wicked Audio's 3D Series Headphones, among others.

Now, Hercules has stepped into the spotlight, unveiling no less than five speakers and/or speaker systems.

The outfit prepared something for both desktops and laptops and included everything in the XPS product collection.

For one, there are the XPS 2.0 40 Slim White and XPS 2.1 40 Slim White speaker systems, with prices of $39.99 and 59.99.

The former has a 10W peak power, while the latter has the advantages of a subwoofer and remote, plus a RMS of 32W.

Meanwhile, the XPS 2.0 10 Arc White and XPS 2.1 20 Arc White have a similar relationship, though they share the arched design and the white lacquered finish on the back, plus black protective grills.

The 2.0 10 has a price of $29.99 (peak power of 5W, volume control, on off button and line input on left satellite) while the 2.1 20 has a 16W peak (has a subwoofer), wired remote and a price of $34.99.

Finally, Hercules created the XPS Sound Bar USB, which is aimed at mobile computers and has a passive rectangular driver, plus four active neodymium ones.

Its total power is 5W and there is an easily removable USB cable, in addition to a clip that doesn't cover the laptop webcam. The device is bundled with a carrying pouch, all for $49.99.
