By now, most of us are already aware that a number of major manufacturers have expressed their intentions of going on the netbook market with their own products. The rumors refer particularly to Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, Fujitsu and others (which are relatively unknown or new in the industry). If we already know how Dell's Mini Inspiron and Fujitsu's Amilo Mini are going to look like, up until know, we couldn't have said the same for Lenovo's upcoming netbook.

Thanks to the German website Eee PC News, which focuses on delivering news about the latest netbooks, we now have a general idea of how Lenovo plans to tackle this emerging portable market. In fact, its upcoming product, which is said to be part of the IdeaPad family, has already been spotted in a YouTube video, which was uploaded by the guys from the above-mentioned website.

From the looks of it, we should expect an 8.9-inch and even a 10-inch model, which will be meant to compete with ASUS' army of Eee PCs. There aren't so many technical details available at this point but, as we mentioned in one of our previous articles, at least one of Lenovo's netbook models will provide a 160GB hard drive. They are also expected to be powered by an Intel Atom processor and to come with LED backlit panels.

This latest video appears to confirm the rumor that Lenovo's netbook will come in four different chassis colors, namely white, black, pink and red. The 8.9-inch model seems to boast a keyboard similar to the one found on ASUS' Eee PC, while users will also apparently be able to benefit from a built-in web camera. Unfortunately, technical specifications are still shrouded in mystery at this point, which means we can't say for certain what operating system Lenovo's product is going to provide. Keep an eye on this space for more.
