14 DAY TRIAL // Britney Spears is getting ready to launch a 2-year residency in Las Vegas showcasing both old and new songs, and fans will get a first taste of what that will be like in an upcoming E! special billed a “2-hour movie event” called “I Am Britney Jean.”
A first trailer for it is embedded above. Britney herself tweeted a link to it, congratulating the fans who had guessed that this was the surprise she had in store for them.
“Make sure you watch the #IAmBritneyJean documentary on Dec 22 on @eonline! Excited to share this little piece of me with u :),” she also says.
The trailer shows Britney in rehearsals, worrying about a neck injury that might make her miss out on hours of practice and experiencing stage fright. Meanwhile, the team behind the Vegas production hints at a show the likes of which has never been done before.
We also see Britney in rehearsals with her dancers but, beyond that, there’s not much to go on. However, the mere promise of a 2-hour TV special is enough for any Britney fan to tune in. Will you?
