14 DAY TRIAL // The Donald’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, married on-and-off boyfriend and fiancé of three months Jared Kushner in a lavish ceremony that took place over the weekend, as we informed you the other day. Details on the ceremony were scarce then and unfortunately continue to be so, but the first photos with the happy bride and groom have just been released, People magazine confirms.
We were also telling you the other day that the fancy nuptials included over 500 guests, all friends of the couple and family members. This also meant A-list actors and musicians, who had all come to see Ivanka and Jared exchange vows. From what the pictures show, the bride was the embodiment of happiness, decked in a fabulous Vera Wang custom gown with a long train and diamonds from her own jewelry line.
“Trump, 27, married Jared Kushner, 28, in a private Jewish ceremony at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, in front of 500 of their friends and family members. Among the star-studded guests were: Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, Barbara Walters, Regis Philbin, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the current New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.” People writes of the impressive guest list. Strangely enough, Ivanka is believed not to have charged magazines for the photos, offering them “in exchange” of keeping other details of the wedding a secret.
“The bride, the co-host of Celebrity Apprentice and a vice president at her father’s real estate company, and her new husband, who is the publisher of the New York Observer and an executive at the Kushner Companies, released few photos and kept most of the details of their wedding private. Donald Trump told People he offered a simple toast to the couple: ‘Be happy and enjoy your life.’” the same magazine further says.
Ivanka and new husband Jared have plans to honeymoon in Africa, but whether they have already left is not known. Donald Trump says he would best describe the newlyweds as a “beautiful, smart couple.”
