It seems that taking a “selfie” as a beta tester of a new digital camera is common practice, as more than a week ago Ray Ohara posted a picture of himself holding the upcoming Fujifilm X-T1.

NikonRumors has spotted a new Nikon D4s photo online that shows the photographer standing in front of a mirror holding the upcoming Nikon flagship DSLR in his hands.

For the moment there's not much information about the D4 successor, as Nikon chose only to announce its development at CES 2014, without disclosing its specs, price, and availability.

According to recent rumors, Nikon D4s will be capable of capturing up to 12 frames per second in burst shooting mode, can record 4K video footage, and will have a high ISO sensitivity of up to ISO408,000.

UK-based online store Park Cameras has listed the D4s with a price of £6,000 / €7,300 / $10,000 and it's currently taking pre-orders. Whether this is the final price or just an estimate, it remains to be seen. Currently, the Nikon D4 can be purchased at a price of $5,996.95 / €4,400 / £3,600.
