Timbaland and Katy Perry have teamed up for one of the tracks included on the famed producer / rapper’s “Shock Value II,” the campy “If We Ever Meet Again.” A video for the track has already been shot and is now in post-production. While more details on it are pending, fans should be happy to learn that the first photos from it have emerged on the net, as AceShowbiz can confirm.

The snaps show Perry, as expected, in fabulous outfits, equipped with knee-high boots and fancy accessories. From the looks of it, this will perhaps turn out to be a video that doesn’t take itself too seriously, unlike some of Timbaland’s previous work, but keeping true to most of Perry’s videos so far. As Timbaland himself said in an older interview, the video will probably see Katy as a “savior” of some sorts, though whether that truly is the case can’t be deduced from the photos made available.

“Timbaland has filmed a music video for ‘If We Ever Meet Again,’ his duet track with Katy Perry. The first look at the forthcoming video is made available through a slew of its on-set pictures which are obtained via KatyPix.com. The video reportedly is directed by Paul ‘Coy’ Allen, who previously worked on Timbaland’s ‘Morning After Dark’ and ‘Say Something’ videos. Earlier this month, the rapper/producer shared what he wants to shoot for the video, saying that he desires Katy to be his savior,” AceShowbiz writes.

“I wanna make something deep,” Timbaland told MTV a while back about the idea that the new video will try to build on. “I don’t know if I wanna make it like a relationship. I wanna make it like she saved my life with whatever depression I was going through, whether it be drug depression, weight-loss depression – something... Will she be around if I go through this again?” the famed producer also said.

As also noted above, “If We Ever Meet Again” is lifted off Timbaland’s latest album, “Shock Value II.” The song is available online in full but, as it happens, a release date for the video has not yet been made public. Given reports that the video has already been shot and is nearing completion as far as post-production goes, expect to hear of it again soon.
