In between performing on her international tour and hitting the party circuit with her friends, Rihanna has also made some time to shoot a video for her fourth single off the “Rated R” album, “Rock Star 101.” A preview for it is already available online (and at the end of the article) and it shows the rock star attitude is all about the clothes you wear.

Or something to that effect, as People magazine also points out. Rihanna performed “Rock Star 101” on American Idol, as we also reported at the time, when she literally brought the house down with a live gig filled with electric guitars, leather and fireworks. With the video too, Rihanna moves a bit away from the military theme she’s been so fond of lately, straight into the realm of glam rock.

“Take a lesson from Rihanna: Being a rock star means being able to strut your stuff while wearing a [hot], slick bodysuit, fierce stilettos, and a fiery red wig. At least that’s the lesson coming out of her new video for ‘Rockstar 101,’ her fourth single off of her album Rated R. PEOPLE has a sneak peek of the new video. The singer, 22, does already knows a thing or two about rocking out: Travis Barker taught her how to play the drums, and Slash plays guitar on the new song,” People says of the video.

The 29-second clip offers little indication in terms of what the concept of the full video might be, focusing solely on Rihanna who, dressed in her leather bodysuit with ridiculously high shoulders, red wig and military-inspired hat, is making of her time in front of the camera her own fashion catwalk. Either way, as the singer has accustomed fans in recent months, since the release of her latest album, to be more precise, the final video will most certainly include other shots, in which she’ll probably look even more (rock) fierce.

Below is the preview for Rihanna’s “Rock Star 101” video. Enjoy and make sure you keep an eye on this space for more details.
