It's hard to discern what is real news and what is fake news about the “Star Wars: Episode VII” project, since we're getting bombarded every day with leaks containing photos, rumors and script plots. But this is sure to be true, since it comes from official channels: Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker is going to be a bearded Jedi master in this movie.

The 62-year-old actor can be seen wielding a lightsaber in an official photo from Disney. You can tell the photo is Disney because Mark is standing next to Mickey Mouse, dressed as a Jedi and also wielding a light saber.

Some fans have already pointed out that Mark has lost a lot of weight for this role (as did Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia) and also grew a beard. It seems to be an indication of the fact that Luke Skywalker is going to take on the role of a Jedi mentor, just like Obi-Wan did in the previous movie.

Speaking about reprising his most famous part, the actor seems to be a bit scared of the large shoes he has to fill and feels that fans might have built him up over the years into something he's not, “I am surprised sometimes at how vehemently they get if [the fans] are not satisfied, which is scary. I have this feeling that no matter what we do there’s going to be a faction that really is disappointed. You just can’t live up to that. Any kind of reunion type endeavor, whatever it is [...] you can never go home again.”
