The first leaked images of Nokia N82 have just surfaced over the web, hinting towards a close release. It was just about time for this to happen, especially since a huge amount of time has passed since the first information concerning this handset has surfaced.

After such a long period since we first heard of Nokia N82, specifications are still uncertain, although most of them have high chances of being quite impressive. One thing is clear, the Finnish handset producer wanted to splash some waves with the release of the N81 and N82 phone models. They both come with the most evolved capabilities and should manage to earn a place among other top devices.

The GSM mobile phone will come in a candybar shape, although the slider one has been many manufacturers' favorite over the last period of time. Most important: it is 3G enabled, packing HSDPA connectivity, great for transferring files at huge speeds.

Just as only few other mobiles out there are capable of providing, Nokia N82 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera phone. With this, it can compete with some of the best camera phones, including the Sony Ericsson K850i. Moreover, its capture quality should be ensured by the Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus and 20x digital zoom, as well as a Xenon flash. There is also a secondary VGA camera, meant for placing video calls at best standards.

Nokia N82 also has built-in GPS, as Nokia thought it to be a great feature to pack in as many of its future phones as possible. This leaves a mark on the handset's sizes, as they are larger than those of many other such devices. At 112 x 50.2 x 17.3 mm and 120 grams in weight, the cellular is neither small, nor uncomfortable, although it might lose the interest of those looking for more slender handsets.

There are high chances that Nokia N82 will be out on the market in the near future, as its producer has already started an advertising campaign for preparing its entrance on the market. This should happen in the near future, as a major announcement is set for the 2nd of November.
