The application enables corporate recruiters, as well as staffing agencies, to quickly find contacts with the skills they need, as it has been designed for use with the Applicant Tracking solutions available via salesforce.com's AppExchange. The app's launch coincides with Jobscience's sponsorship of Cloudforce London, hosted by Salesforce.
According to Jobscience, its app runs natively on the iPhone, allowing a recruiter to call, email, text message, or connect via social networks with just a tap of the screen. Jobscience claims to have a vast portfolio of automated applicant tracking and management solutions that integrate all key hiring and employee management functions through a central web interface. The solution automates the process and tightens the workflow between HR managers, recruiters and candidates, and ultimately decreases hiring costs, according to an official Jobscience report. The company currently offers functions such as standardized job descriptions and job posting, applicant tracking, HR policy, background checking, and employee referral.
