DRO Concepts has introduced its first carbon fiber iPhone cases. Simply dubbed the Carbon Fiber iPhone Case (also available for the 3G model), the product provides style and protection, without sacrificing access to your iPhone’s features.

The company assures visitors of its website that real carbon fiber has an appeal unlike any other, while anyone can guess just how strong the outer shell is. Given the carbon fiber's impressive strength to weight ratio, DRO's Carbon Fiber iPhone Case is probably the best choice for an iPhone case at the moment. The cases come in real carbon fiber and true silver texalium – currently the only Texalium iPhone case available anywhere, according to the manufacturer.

In the box, customers will find one DRO Concepts Carbon Fiber iPhone 3G Case, one Microfiber polishing cloth, one D-shield Anti-static screen guard, while the packaging itself is eco-friendly, says DRO, which also insists on posting some tech specs on the case as well:

- Made with 4 layers of authentic aerospace grade carbon fiber to provide a tough outer shell; - Lined with snug high-quality neoprene to provide a supple cushion; - Toughened scratch-resistant high gloss finish, comparable to what you might find on an exotic sports car; - A mere 1.8mm thick keeps the iPhone slim; - Intelligent design offers full access to all iPhone features and controls.

“If you are looking to stand out in a crowd then this is the case for you,” says the company. “DRO Concepts has zeroed in on the style and technology it takes to make these hi-tech, yet functional, works of art ... DRO Concepts believes that a case should be both protective and fashionable. That's why we search the world over for the best quality materials and methods to create the most stylish, technologically advanced, cases money can buy,” the makers of the Carbon Fiber iPhone Case conclude. Update: this article has been modified to eliminate a statement saying that DRO Concepts' new case was the first made of carbon fiber for the Apple iPhone.
