The final release will be pushed out on March 30th, 2012

A few days ago, Mozilla made available for download the final bids of its Firefox 10 browser, and pushed it to devices running under Google’s Android operating system as well.

What it didn’t do, however, was to make the Firefox 11 browser available in beta, after pushing it in Aurora about six weeks ago.

The reason was simple. The new Firefox 11 adopts a new user interface, an Android Native UI, meant to provide users with better performance.

In fact, Mozilla warned recently that it would miss the deadline for moving the application version to the Beta channel. It is only in Aurora now, and users who would like to give it a try should know that it packs a lot of bugs still.

However, it appears that we will get the chance to see Firefox with Native UI in action at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona before the end of this month.

Mozilla will present it to the world on February 27th, during an event set at the MWC show. Moreover, they plan on making the final release available for download on March 30th.

In the meantime, however, enthusiasts can give the interim builds a try, and can also provide Mozilla with feedback on the experience they receive from the application when browsing over the Internet.

To help test the application, users should download the latest pre-beta version (it can be found on Softpedia as well, via this link) and head over to favorite sites to learn how the browser can handle them.

Mozilla also notes that users can do the following:

- Please test on various devices that can run Fennec Native - Play with the bookmarking and recent visits as well as the session history (forward/backwards navigation) - Explore away with testing these features https://wiki.mozilla.org/Fennec/NativeUI/NightlyFeatures - Use logcat and other tools to monitor your logs to help your bug reports.

Firefox with Native UI offers support for Adobe’s Flash Player, though only on devices that run under Google’s Android 2.3 and Android 2.2 platform versions.
