This is how Mozilla Foundation's invitation sounds like, accompanying the final release of Firefox 2.0. And the open-source browser also comes with a handful of features to make the best out of experiencing the web via Firefox 2.0.

Firefox 2.0. comes with improved tabbed browsing, opening new web pages in tabs by default, providing the possibility to open Recently Closed Tabs via the homonym option in the history menu and also enhancing tabbed navigation thorough scrolling. The browser also has an embedded spell checker and suggests search topics for Google, Yahoo and Answers.com.

"Session Restore - Losing your place while you're doing things on the Web is a pain. Now, with Session Restore, if Firefox has to restart or closes when it comes back you'll pick up exactly where you left off. The windows and tabs you were using, the text you typed into forms, and the in-progress downloads you had running will all be restored. You can even set Firefox 2 to always restore your previous session instead of loading a home page, so you'll never lose your place again," stated Mozilla.

Firefox Live Bookmark enables users to control web feeds. Live Titles delivers summarized updates of the pages you are interested in. Firefox 2.0 also features an integrated search bar, a pop-up blocker, a streamlined interface and advanced accessibility capabilities with the visually impaired in mind.

"Firefox keeps you safe from spyware, hackers, scammers and spammers, using the power of a vigilant and passionate community to protect you 24/7," states Mozilla. For this it has integrated Phishing Protection, Automated Update, Protection from Spyware and Clear Private Data features in Firefox 2.0.

But Mozilla is also enabling users to enhance the browser according to their personal preferences. For this, Mozilla Foundation has made available add-ons, Add-ons Manager for Extensions and Themes and a Search engine Manager to customize Firefox 2.0 so that it tailor fits you.
